[b]Backstory:[/b] SV2 doctrine has Patlabor squads deploy in teams of 3: 1 forward, one heavy weapons, and one support Labor. This was originally accomplished by assigning dedicated role Labors to each squad. However this tends to be expensive, both in terms of equipment and personnel. Since each Labor handles differently, it is not feasible to have standardized training systems, nor can pilots easially change from one role to another. To mitigate this, the JSDF is currently trial testing 3 of the new Shinohara Heavy Industries AV-98 Ingrams.
