Technical and Historical Notes

The Blaster Matey was an experimental matey designed by the MGME in a project to test the feasability of remotely operated drones. Built simultaniously to the Knight Matey, the Blaster Matey was designed to test smaller drones. Though the tests proved to be successful, the MGME never had any intention of putting the drones (called "Blasters") into production, so the Blaster Matey was put into storage along with the research data.

The storage facility was discovered by one of the MRC cells, and the Blaster Matey was recovered. Piloted by the leader of the cell, Nash Koga, it was put into operations against the 51st Combined Arms Regiment and the R-Matey, however it was eventually destroyed.
