PTX-015-T Wildwurger Trenchcoat Armor

Armor Material: ???
Height: 20.6m
Weight: 56.9 tons
Pilot(s): Various
Creator(s): Marion Radom and Kirk Hamill

Ability Data

Trenchcoat Armor: The armor provides full body protection to the Wildwurger, increasing the amount of damage it can take, at the expense of reducing Wildwurger's speed. It can be easially purged in order to revert back to Wildwurger.

Weapon Data

Derringers: The "sleeves" of the armor each contain 20 single shot derringer pistols. While not powerful, the derringers are accurate and do not take up much space. To use, primed derringers are ejected from the sleeve into the Wildwurger's hands. After being fired, the spent derringers are retracted into the sleeve and stored until they can be reloaded.
Grenade Launcher: A small launcher mounted on the M90 Assault Rifle, used to fire grenades.
Metal Sword: A standard sword to use in close combat.
Triple Vulcan: A 3 barreled vulcan mounted on the Wildwurger's left arm.
Sub-Machine Guns: On the inside of the armor are racks holding a number of sub-machine guns. The guns have a high rate of fire, but each one runs out of ammunition quickly.
M90 Assault Rifle: A powerful assault rifle with an underslung grenade launcher.
Shotgun: On the inside of the armor is a rack holding a shotgun, used to attack groups of enemy units.
Stag Beetle Crusher: Powerful claws mounted on the right arm that can grab and crush an opponent.
Death Blossom: A special technique in which the Wildwurger spins around, firing all it's weapons at anything nearby.

Technical and Historical Notes

Because the Wildwurger was designed specifically with Arado's fighting style in mind, it was difficult for other pilots to use it effectively. As such, not wanting to waste the potential battle power of the Wildwurger L, Dr. Radom was [s]forced[/s] convinced to find a way to make it easier for other pilots to use. Not wanting to redesign the unit entirely, she instead developed an outer frame for the Wurger, which increased it's defensive capabilities and could hold additional ranged weapons. The frame looked much like a large coat was placed over the Wildwurger, so it ended up being nicknamed Trenchcoat Armor (much to Dr. Radom's annoyance). The coat covered some of Wildwurger's thrusters, so it lost some mobility and was unable to change to high mobility mode, however the coat could be easially ejected when more speed was required, or in case the frame took too much damage.

While the Trenchcoat Armor module was designed for Wildwurger L, since both the R and L types are identical, it could be used on either unit.
