Backstory

Network Warrior Cyberguard was a short-lived manga series centering around a virtual robot defending the networks of the world from viruses and other attacks. Only a few volumes were released before it was canceled, due to a combination of poor story and poor art.

Cyberguard

Armor Material: Virtual
Height: 35 meters (if in the real world)
Weight: N/A
Pilot(s): Autonomous
Creator(s): International Network Coalition

Ability Data

RAM Armor: Cyberguard's special armour siphons off part of any incoming energy-based attack, using the power to resupply Cyberguardn's reserves.
Remote Shield: Cyberguard can place small barriers around it, to protect itself or any allies.
Fire Wall: Cyberguard is also protected from attack by a personal firewall.

Weapon Data

Melee: Generic melee attacks.
Network Sword: Cyberguard's sword.
Ping-Pong Shot: Energy blasts fired from guns in Cyberguard's wrists.
Data Drain: Cyberguard attempts to grab the opponent. If the attack connects, Cyberguard drains the enemy's data, using it to restore any damaged routines.
Denial of Service: Cyberguard swarms the enemies with energy bursts. Each burst is individually weak, but the sheer number floods weaker virus' connections, disconnecting them instantly, while stronger viruses take heavy damage.
Blue Screen of Death: Cyberguard's finishing move (at least, in the volumes that were released...). It releases a powerful burst that attempts to overload the target's computer, severing the network connection at least, completely crashing it at worst.

Technical and Historical Notes

In the near future, viruses and hackers are a serious threat to the world's security. To combat this threat, the International Network Coalition developed Cyberguard, a special anti-virus. Taking the shape of a giant robot, Cyberguard fought viruses and hacker avatars in the world network's "Virtual Space", protecting the network from attack.
