The sun is at its highest point above Seireitei, the white stone tower of Penitence glistens in the sun in its ever imposing, towering visage visible even from the somewhat outlying Shinigami Academy. An oldfashioned Bell in the clocktower of the academy buildings tolls to signal high noon at the end of morning classes. The students are given an hour on their own to lunch at this time. * Reiko_Shiromura was sleeping at her desk, having awoken at the sound of the bell. With a yawn, she slowly gets to her feet and stumbles her way towards the cafeteria, scratching her head lazily. In soul Society most souls do not require food, as everything in it is made of Reish (soul Particles) but a shinigami, who uses their Reiatsu to fuel their kidou and combat abilities absorbs the reishi in the food to replenish their own spiritual power, this means that while rare in the outlying rukongai district food is a normal part of life within the walls of seireitei. That said, the cafeteria is only there to feed you not spoil your taste buds. But then its a school cafeteria and somethings just never change... 6<< "I get to the afterlife and the food still sucks.
